Join us for our first bird walk day trip to Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, April 8, 2017. We’ll meetup in the parking lot at Backyard Birds, 7:30 am. You can drive or carpool.

Bird watching is a favorite activity at Carolina Sandhills NWR. The 45,348-acre national wildlife refuge is located in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, and is home to nearly 200 species of birds, including the red-cockaded woodpecker and a variety of migratory birds making it an ideal location for bird watching!
