Celebrate Earth Day with Backyard Birds
Visit Backyard Birds during the Earth Day Celebration at Stumptown Park on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 10:00 am. Bring the kids over to the Backyard Birds booth for a free craft courtesy of RelyLocal.
Enjoy live music, educational and interactive environmental information and activities, free crafts for children and much more. Concessions will be offered for sale. You can bring your old medications to be disposed of properly, learn how to certify your back yard as a wildlife habitat, get gardening tips, etc. Compost bins and other “green” merchandise will be on sale at this event.
