PAWTISM 2014 is the inaugural year for the festival. It is a family friendly event hosted by Plantation Animal Hospital in Matthews, NC. There will be various activities for the kids including a bounce house, animal balloons, and face painting. Live jazz entertainment will be playing original music throughout the event. The PAWTISM festival is the same weekend as MatthewsAlive! and is located about two blocks from the MatthewsAlive! entrance. Approximately 200,000 participants attended MatthewsAlive! last year.
Support two great causes during this event:
- Animal rescues including Yorkie Haven Rescue will be present to raise awareness about animal rescue.
- Reagan’s Wish will be present to raise awareness about Autism.
Also present: a pet portrait artist, photographer, and lots of vendors, including Backyard Birds, with unique gift items and fun arts and crafts items for sale. There is free parking in the area; however parking will not be permitted onsite at PAWTISM.
Admission to PAWTISM is FREE.
