The mission of the Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is to provide rescue and rehabilitation for sick, injured, and orphaned birds as well as increase public awareness and appreciation for animals.

Carolina Waterfowl Rescue (CWR) is run by experienced, federally-licensed migratory bird rehabilitators specializing in birds. We strive to take the forgotten and unwanted animals that fall through the cracks with traditional rescues. We provide care for animals along with trained volunteers and avian veterinarians. We strive for the highest standards in animal care as well as promoting professionalism in the wildlife rehabilitation arena.

We work with animal control agencies, law enforcement and other rescues and assist with oil spills, hoarding and criminal cases involving birds.
