25 APR

Calling all bird lovers, butterfly enthusiasts, and eco-conscious gardeners! Backyard Birds is excited to sponsor a native plant sale this Saturday, April 25th from 11AM to 1PM.

Join us and meet Carrie Dejaco from Constructive Plant Rescue (CPR), a nonprofit native plant nursery with a mission to increase the number of native plants being utilized in landscapes. Carrie will be on-site with a wide variety of native pollinator plants perfect for attracting birds, butterflies, and other beneficial wildlife to your backyard. Proceeds will benefit CPR.

Native plants are not only beautiful, but they’re also essential for the health of our local ecosystems. They provide vital food and shelter for pollinators like butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, which are crucial for plant reproduction.

Here are some of the benefits of planting native plants:
  • Attract beautiful birds and butterflies to your yard
  • Support healthy ecosystems and a thriving pollinator population
  • Reduce the need for pesticides and fertilizers
  • Create a low-maintenance and drought-tolerant landscape
Don’t miss this chance to:
  • Explore a diverse selection of native plants perfect for your garden
  • Learn more about the importance of native plants from Carrie Dejaco, a native plant expert
  • Discover how to create a beautiful and sustainable backyard habitat for wildlife

Mark your calendars and stop by Backyard Birds this Saturday!
