[DATE CHANGE] Native Pollinator Plant Sale with Lisa Tompkins, Carolina Heritage Nursery
Attention gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers! We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Native Pollinator Plant Sale event in partnership with Carolina Heritage Nursery’s Lisa Tompkins. Join us on April 22nd from 11AM to 1PM at Backyard Birds for a diverse selection of native pollinator plants perfect for your backyard garden.
Our plants are essential for attracting and supporting native pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Not only do native pollinators play a crucial role in the ecosystem, but they also add a vibrant touch to your backyard.
Lisa Tompkins, a renowned expert on native plants and co-president of NC Native Plant Society (Southern Piedmont Chapter), will be available to offer her expertise and knowledge to help you select the perfect plants for your garden. Carolina Heritage Nursery grows all of our plants without harmful chemicals, ensuring they’re safe for both the environment and the pollinators they attract.
We encourage you to arrive early for the best plant selection. Backyard Birds will also have garden decor, accessories, and bird houses and feeders available for purchase, making it easy to create the perfect backyard oasis for you and the pollinators.
In summary, our Native Pollinator Plant Sale event is an excellent opportunity to support the local environment while creating a beautiful and vibrant backyard garden. Don’t miss out on this exciting event – see you on April 1st!
In addition, Habitat Steward and Master Naturalist, Debbie Foster, will be here to discuss how easy it is to certify your home, business, school or place of worship as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. She’ll answer your questions about challenges you may have about attracting wildlife to your yard, what you want to attract and don’t want to attract, and more! Learn more about how to certify your backyard as a wildlife habitat.
