Who’s in your backyard?
The more common birds in this area include Bluebirds, Wrens, Cardinals, Gold Finches, House Finches, Robins, Downey and Red Bellied Woodpeckers. Please share your pictures and stories with us on Facebook if you have a “not so common” bird in your backyard.
Last month our customers shared their pictures of a Pileated Woodpecker and a pair of Summer Tanagers.
You probably notice a lot of parent birds with their young at your feeders. Help them take care of their fledglings by offering high protein food such as sunflower seeds, peanuts, suet and meal worms. They will remember your backyard is THE place to be!
